ATO Inflatable Pipe Stopper (Air Test Only)
The ATO Inflatable Pipe Stopper is a patented air test only pipe stopper designed and manufactured by MJS Purge Systems for creating airtight seals in pipelines during air testing. Developed for use in construction, drainage and pipeline testing applications, it is designed to withstand a back pressure of 4"/100mm U gauge as required by British Standards.
Designed for practical on-site use, the ATO stopper is lightweight, fully collapsible and easy to handle, making it suitable for single-person fitting. Each unit is manufactured to the exact pipe size required to provide a secure seal and dependable performance during testing.
Product Design
Each inflatable pipe stopper is manufactured with test and blank ends, an inflatable outer ring and a soft central membrane with a 5mm closed-cell foam sealing surface. This design helps create a reliable airtight seal inside the pipeline for accurate air testing.
Each stopper is fitted with a 1/4" BSP female Schrader valve, the same type of valve commonly used on car wheels, for inflation and a lever ball valve for rapid deflation, both connected by a 1200mm umbilical tube.
